Dress Up Dad

Be prepared to have some fun and hear some belly laughs with our Dress Up Dad PowerPoint Activity! This activity allows students to dress Dad up for Father’s Day or any occasion. Clothing items can be made larger or smaller to fit the dad on the PowerPoint slide. You can adjust the items just the way you’d like to make a properly dressed person or someone looking silly! Goals you can work on include following directions, prepositions, basic concepts, vocabulary, categorization, or just use as a positive reinforcement activity. Don’t miss out on the fun of dressing up dad!

Perspective Taking

Perspective Taking is a PDF activity that allows students (ages K-5 or older) to look at interesting photos of children and use clues in each to determine what might be happening as well as what the child might be feeling in each instance. Questions are listed on each slide as well as the activity’s description slide to assist with developing perspective-taking skills. The key question is asking if the student has ever felt the way the child in the photo is demonstrating and if the answer is “yes,” then asking what caused him/her to feel that way.
